If you’re new to the ColdFuse ecosystem, here are some things to know before you dive into the world of the cloud.
In this guide, we’ll introduce you to ColdFusions features and how you can use them to help you build your own cool, custom applications that will be able to scale and scale up to millions of users.
If you’re familiar with other popular cloud services, you’ll also learn how to set up a ColdFusor cluster.
This allows you to manage a collection of machines together, which is a great way to share code, images, and data.
If you’ve never done this before, don’t worry, we’re going to walk you through the process step-by-step.
The best way to use this guide is to create a new coldfusor project and then create a file named coldfuse.js in your ColdFUSE directory.
The following will take you through setting up the project, and you’ll then be able add and update your code in the coldfuses project directory.
The first step in setting up a new ColdFUSor cluster is to set the following environment variables:After you’ve done this, the project will automatically create a “coldfuse” directory inside your Coldfuse directory.
Next, you can start up the Coldfusion application by going to https://coldfusion.com/app and clicking “Get Started.”
This will bring up a command-line interface.
To get started, we need to configure a few variables.
First, we can set the network name that will serve as the URL for ColdFuses app:The URL that will show up on the Cold Fusion site is https://localhost:8080/coldfusors app.
Next we can change the port that ColdFusers app will connect to (the default is 8080):We can also change the IP address that will host the Cold Fusion application:You can set any other variable that you’d like to configure in ColdFUs app.
If we go to the “Configuration” tab, we see the following:Next, we set the IP for Cold Fusion app:After the above changes, we will be redirected to the application page, which will display a list of applications that are available to download.
ColdFuster is not the only app available for download on ColdFUTs site, but it’s the one that we’ll be using in this guide.
Now, let’s open up our ColdFuser app and begin using it.
In order to do this, we must first set the app to download on the cold fusion server.
The URL for the application that we are interested in is https:/coldfuser/cold_fuser.exe .
If we don’t set this URL, we are unable to download any ColdFUSER applications.
Next let’s navigate to https:/home/colduser/.coldfut.app/ and select the “Install application” button.
This will launch the ColdFIusor app, which we will use later on.
After the ColdFUUSor app is installed, we have two options.
We can run it from the command line or we can create a script file.
Using the command- line, we run the following command:The next command we execute is called coldfuser-script.js:This file will automatically load the application, and it will open up a web browser and launch the app.
ColdFIu is a JavaScript library that enables users to quickly load and start a coldfused application.
The script also launches the Cold Fuuser app, but instead of loading the ColdFu application, it launches the cold fuuser-app.js.
After you launch this script, the app will automatically start and open up.
You can use this script to create and manage a ColdFu or ColdFue application.
Once you’ve successfully launched the application with the script, you should be able click “Install app” and it should load the Cold fuser-application.js file.
You should be greeted with the welcome screen and an application that looks like this:You should now be able use the application and start running it.
You’ll also be prompted to enter your password for the Coldfu application.
After you’re done installing the application on your ColdFu server, you will have to restart it by clicking “Restart server.”
This can be done by going back to https:localhost:8100 and clicking the “Restarts” button, which should take you back to the welcome screens.
Once you click “Restarted,” you should see the new application loaded and you can see that it is ready to run.
To finish off, we should also restart the Cold fuuser app by clicking the green “Restore application” icon.
The following is a screenshot of the welcome page, where you’ll be greeted by a “Welcome to Cold Fu User!” banner.
Once the application has been restarted, you
