A new developer network to support the development of software for the Fortinet Cloud Platform has been announced by the company.
The network will focus on the development and commercialization of software, which includes data and analytics, enterprise applications, and mobile and cloud solutions.
The Fortinet Development Group will be supported by several technology companies including CloudFoundry, Microsoft, and Red Hat, according to the announcement from the company, which also says it will invest in “new talent to support its efforts.”
The announcement is notable for its focus on Fortinet’s Cloud Platform, as the company has been focusing on the company’s platform for several years.
The Cloud Platform is a platform that is based on the FortiSoft OpenStack cloud platform.
The company has focused heavily on the platform for many years.
In recent years, Fortinet has also been pushing the cloud to support more applications.
Earlier this year, the company said it will expand its partnership with Google to offer cloud services on Google Cloud Platform for $15 per month.
Google has been working on a Google Cloud platform for years.
Earlier in 2018, the search giant announced that it would add its Cloud Platform to Google Cloud Services, its infrastructure platform for its cloud services.
Fortinet will also be able to use Google Cloud as a way to leverage its data, analytics, and compute resources.
The Fortinet development group will work closely with the CloudFoundries development team to build a Cloud Platform that will be a valuable asset to all of Fortinet.
FortiSoftware will provide support to the FortIet developer community.
“As a Cloud developer, FortiCloud is the platform of choice for our customers and partners,” said Steve O’Connor, executive director of Forti Software, in the announcement.
“We are excited to be joining forces with Fortinet to develop and launch a new Cloud Platform.”
